My name is Niamh Bloomfield, and I am an independent goldsmith based near Tregaron in rural Wales.

With over a decade of experience in the jewellery industry, I have developed my craft through both traditional hand fabrication and modern CAD-assisted design.

 

Working from my small workshop, I create distinctive jewellery using 100% recycled gold and silver, combining time-honoured techniques with contemporary methods. Many of my pieces are still made entirely by hand, using only a few essential tools and a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship.

My designs are deeply personal and entirely original. I draw much of my inspiration from the natural world, alongside a longstanding fascination with history — particularly the Victorian and Edwardian eras. These influences can be seen in the character, detail, and storytelling behind each piece I create.

I work closely with every client throughout the process, sharing updates at each stage so you can follow the journey of your piece as it comes to life. All jewellery is made to order, with most commissions taking approximately 4–8 weeks to complete.
